Our PWC297 single component polyurethane is made with a polyurethane modified alkyd resin and is used as an interim corrosion preventative touch up coating to protect metal surfaces on aircraft, ground equipment, and other surfaces subject to corrosion.
All PWC polyurethanes are exact matches to US Federal Standard 595 Colors. PWC 297 is formulated as a compliment to Mil-PRF-85285, not as a substitute, and are designed to be applied when the use of the hazardous two-part system is not feasible. Packaged in 16 oz aerosol spray cans, these products serve as a quick, easy-to use touch up. No compressor, spray equipment, power packs, etc. are needed, eliminating hose and equipment cleanup.

PWC 297 utilizes better pigments, solids and resins than most other brands and dry to a tough, permanent, hard finish that will withstand harsh environments and abrasion, and is formulated for exceptional hide, coverage, and anti-corrosion protection. In addition to their excellent performance, ease of use, and convenience, PWC Polyurethanes are safer to use than most other polyurethane products.
